There is a lot of smoke, and a lot of mirrors, in the ediscovery market. Claims are made about performance, capabilities, and most importantly, accuracy. Do you really know that all of the ESI was processed correctly?
There are no standards, and no tools to verify these claims.
We are developing the tools and data sets required to test and validate ediscovery tools and end to end processes. Vendors, service providers, and end users will all benefit from the ability to show with scientific accuracy that a process is, or is not, accurate.
